Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan hasil pengamatan peneliti dilapangan yang menunjukan bahwa Kemampuan berpikir simbolik anak masih terdapat beberapa permasalahan di antaranya masih ada anak yang mengalami kesulitan dalam membilang satu sampai sepuluh dengan benda, mengurutkan angka dengan benar, menghubungkan bilangan dengan lambang bilangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media vidio animasi terhadap kemampuan berpikir simbolik anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Bangun Nusantara III Kec. Pelepat Ilir Kab.Bungo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Pre-Experimental Design dengan bentuk One Grup Pretest-Posttest Designt. Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu 15 anak pada kelompok B. Teknik pengumpulan data sampel menggunakan metode total sampling. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan lembar observasi sebagai instrument penelitian yang telah di uji validasi. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunkan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesis menggunakan paired sampel test. Hasil dari analisis data menggunakan pengujian hipotesis uji-t paired sampel Test diperoleh nilai thitung sebesar 18,005 dengan nilai signifikansi dua arah (sig.2 –taibel) sebesar 0,000 (< 0,05), maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara kemampuan berpikir simbolik anak usia 5-6 tahun TK Bangun Nusantara III Kec. Pelepat Ilir Kab.Bungo pada data pre-test dan post-test. Dengan interprestasi kuat dengan nilai yang berada pada rentan tinggi dengan interprestasi kuat (Strong Effect) yakni 4,6. Dengan demikian Media Video Animasi dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran anak usia dini delam peningkatan kemampuan berpikir simbolik. This research is motivated by the researcher's observations in the field, which indicate that children's symbolic thinking skills still face several challenges. Some children experience difficulty counting from one to ten using objects, correctly ordering numbers, and connecting numbers with symbols. This study aims to determine the effect of animated video media on the symbolic thinking skills of 5-6-year-old children at Bangun Nusantara III Kindergarten, Pelepat Ilir District, Bungo Regency. This study employed a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of 15 children in Group B. Total sampling was used as the data collection technique. Validated observation sheets served as the research instrument. The analysis techniques employed included normality tests, homogeneity tests, and paired-sample hypothesis tests. The results of data analysis using paired sample t-test hypothesis testing obtained a t-value of 18.005 with a two-way significance value (sig.2 – table) of 0.000 (<0.05), so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. It can be concluded that there is a significant influence between the symbolic thinking abilities of children aged 5-6 years in Bangun Nusantara III Kindergarten, Pelepat Ilir District, Bungo Regency on the pre-test and post-test data. With a strong interpretation with a value that is in the high range with a strong interpretation (Strong Effect) of 4.6. Thus, Animated Video Media can be used in early childhood learning in improving symbolic thinking abilities. This is an open access article under the CC–BY-SA license.
